Henlox Universe

Where traditional watchmaking ends, performance engineering begins.

The name draws inspiration from Peter Henlein, widely regarded as the father of the modern portable timepiece. “Hen” honors the ingenuity and discipline of early horology. “Lox” represents strength, precision, and the locking of time into controlled motion.

We are a small, independent watchmaking atelier designing and creating limited-edition timepieces with raw, rare and exclusive materials. Our greatest passion is the tourbillon: its intricate construction, constant motion and ability to make the mechanics of time visible. That fascination shapes our approach, from the sculpted character of forged carbon to the natural patterns of meteorite.

The Henlox name draws inspiration from Peter Henlein, a pioneer of early portable timekeeping. “Hen” honours the ingenuity and discipline of early horology. “Lox” represents strength, precision and the locking of time into controlled motion.

Our design language takes its cues from performance engineering: sculpted forms, exposed structures and materials chosen for a purpose. We want each timepiece to invite a closer look, revealing something beyond its first impression.

At the heart of our tourbillon creations, a rotating cage carries the escapement and balance assembly — a mechanism originally developed to compensate for gravity-related timing errors in certain positions. For us, its appeal is equally visual: the opportunity to witness one of watchmaking’s most captivating mechanisms in motion.

Forged carbon brings strength, lightness and an individual marbled signature. Meteorite reveals patterns formed through extraordinarily slow cooling, long before it reached Earth. These materials give our designs their character, connecting contemporary engineering with natural history.

Across our collections, 316L stainless steel provides a durable structural foundation, while sapphire crystal protects the detail beneath. Each material is selected to serve the design, balancing mechanical purpose with presence on the wrist.

As an independent atelier, we create in limited editions, guided by our own curiosity and the freedom to explore. Our ambition is to make timepieces that express what we love most: remarkable materials, exposed mechanics and the enduring fascination of the tourbillon.

Henlox. Independent by nature. Mechanical at heart.
